Paddy Murphy aged 46, caretaker of No Doe Hunting camp near Hober man, was fatally injured on M-28 at Strongs corner when struck by a car driven by Olaf Bayer of 742 Maple Street. Anthony Kaba, 34, a trapper of Paratise, is hospitalized in serious condition at War Memorial hospital. Conservation officers in Mackinac County, while on patrol, found deer remains and tracks indicating a violator. They secured a search warrant and found venison skins at Herman Shimmelpfenig’s Moran home. he pleaded guilty to illegal possession of venison and paid a $265 fine plus $6.85 costs.

Eye Witness Identifies Thief In Ishpeming Store Break
Ishpeming police arrested 47 year old Yranit Wickman after an eye witness said he hurled a piece of hardwood through a glass panel at the J C Penney store on Main Street at about 2 45 Sunday morning. Wickman pled not guilty to malicious destruction of property and was ordered to appear next Monday for trial after posting bail set at 100 and remanded to jail for failure to bail.

Silas H. McGregor of Iron Mountain, ex deputy labor head, found guilty of contempt for illegal handling of compensation claims before the present commissioners. McGregor, defended by M. S.
