Suller Presides As Board Sets 4300 Levy For Year

The regular annual school board meeting organized the new year with M. M. Elder and W. U. Suiser re-elected. Suiser was chosen president. A tax levy of 4300 was set for the coming year to support an expanded teacher corps. Regular meetings will be on the first Wednesday of each month to centralize business.

Rev Koster Ousted From Ministry in Hull Case

Orange City reports Rev. Koster, pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church at Hull, was dismissed from the ministry after a jury of preachers found him guilty of conduct unbecoming a clergyman. Proceedings included an Orange City departmental entertainment at the opera house to aid better equipment. Charity McKee, sister of H. H. McKee, died in Colorado while away for health reasons. funeral in Rock Valley Saturday.

Concrete posts to be made by local firms in Sioux County

A contract signed Tuesday between B Gendt and John Zimmerman of Treton and Electric Concretee Co of Lakelly Inova enables Lendt and Zimmerman to manufacture and sell electrical concrete fence posts in Sioux county. A Mozars Lendt and Zimmerman building will be erected and posts produced. The cement posts are non absorbing and resistant to weather decay and fire. Two wires

Electric railway hoped to boost Sioux City area farming

Local discussion notes strong support and pledges for a Sioux City and Ireton electric line. Farmers along a 25 mile stretch between Milwaukee and the Great Northern back the plan, with several thousand dollars pledged and more to come. The proposed line would be standard gauge with trolley operation and power from Sioux City, possibly three power houses at Ireton, costing $600000.
