Five Year Lease Planned for Ireton Brick Plant Expansion
W J Knowlton Byran Peebles and W A Townsend, recent buyers of the Ireton brick factory, arrange a five year lease with M C Stolze at 300 dollars yearly. Stolze hopes to add two kilns and a tile making attachment, plus hollow brick and drain tile production. A Sioux City fire boosts yard demand and industry prospects look favorable for higher brick output and yard value. Professor Holden, though ill, spoke via assistants at an Ames College seed corn event in Traton, while the Treton Rural Telephone Association elects F N McNally president and fills other officers as it reports improved finances and system expansion.
