Ireton Elects Directors in Record Voter Turnout
In Freton on April 16 the school election drew 98 votes, far above last year. Directors elected are T. E. McCaughan C. W. Stevens and M. Ney Satterlee, with E. C. Carpenter and Wm. N. Irwin also winning on the rival ticket. J. Johnson re elected treasurer. An Independent ticket endorses F. Viot ho for mayor and others, while a gas franchise vote and council races loom with a proposed 25 year pipe system and municipal treasurer considerations.
