Receiver W I Thompson filed the final report. the judge will likely order the final dividend at this session, possibly seventeen percent, leaving depositors about sixty seven cents on the dollar. Discharge of the receiver likely at the September term.

Sioux County Experimental Farm Picnic May Draw Wide Attention

Improvements Planned for Ireton Lodge Building and Town Walks

Notes detail raising the Ireton I.O.O.F. lodge building by 18 inches and extending the rear with a 24 foot by full-width two-story addition for banquets and storage. A tall French plate glass front will replace the exterior, and the building will be repainted. Also reported are improvements to private residences, a new foot bridge over the ravine east of town, and extensive cement walks on Elm street and Main street blocks including areas near Tab Brown and Mrs. Belle Donnell.
