Editor argues readers need editorial page at weeklies
George Ver Steeg editor of the Pella Chronicle tells a State University of Iowa conference that a weekly paper without editorial comment loses personality and community influence. The program covered publishing in Japan, centennial editions, traffic safety, university relations, athletic department news, and rates for weeklies.
