Farley Vehicle Damaged in Wrong Way Collision

A 1969 Chevrolet owned by James William Farley of Le Mars sustained extensive front end damage early Tuesday when another car traveling the wrong way on a one way road collided with his northbound vehicle on highway 75. No injuries were reported. Bruce Nathan Bowen Jr. of Cherokee, 22, faced charges after the crash.

Regents Hike Iowa State University Tuition For 1969

Dr. Larson to autograph history books in Le Mars

Dr. Arthur Q. Larson, professor of history and longtime Westmar College faculty member, will autograph autographed copies of The Story of a Prairie Town in Le Mars Friday evening. The event runs 7 30 to 8 30 p m at the Chamber of Commerce centennial booth and is sponsored by the Le Mars Sertoma club and Le Mars Centennial Association. Local Social Security Office Closure notice

The Social Security office in Sioux City’s Roan Building is closed on July 3. A social security representative will be available Thursday August 7. The notice includes names Floyd Valkyria and Mrs Dennis Bradsted and a birth date June 24.
