Rural Homemaker honored at Sioux City event
Mrs Clarence Kasch of Hinton was named county homemaker representative at the Rural Homemaker’s Day in Sioux City joining 50 women from Iowa South Dakota and Nebraska. She serves on the Plymouth County Extension Home Economics committee and is secretary. She toured local sites with Jo ann McBride and received a certificate and pin at the Biltmore dining room banquet.

Cadets' Viet Cong ROTC Camp Encounter Ends
Col Frank Anderson guided in Capt Nicholson and Viet Nam volunteers as helicopters landed near a Viet Cong camp. Ground search found 72 structures with about a third burning. Cadets evacuated after a 45 minute survey, returning home after coffee and brownies. Some wished more cadets could stay to earn their degrees.
