Marlene A Woll and Albert J Stoos exchanged vows at St Josephs Catholic church in Le Mars on June 15 1955 with double ring ceremony at 8 00 am. Henning Hensen and family joined George Hummel in visiting Jerry Curry’s family in South Sioux City. Tom Atkins, son of Mrs. Walter Holder in the Marines, stayed overnight at Jonas Wester’s home. Lynn Hummel served as a jury member in the Jimmy Bremmer case in Le Mars.

MACV Mission Day activities are scheduled at Mrs. Leo Schroeder’s home.

The Ludwig family gathered at noon for dinner and an afternoon of cards at the Legion hall and Ludwig home to honor Mr and Mrs Cornelius Ludwig and their eleven children. Attendees included the Locer family from Texas and relatives from Iowa and Elkton, with Pfc Verlyn Rader stationed at Fort Lewis among those present. The event marked a extended family reunion as Harveys W. Dyocer and Mary Ann Dyocer were guests, and plans were noted for the Locers to move to Texas.
