Struble and Craig Girls Play Kittenball in Struble
A busy week in Struble and surrounding towns features social visits in Sioux City with Miss Marie Moran and Miss Leone Coffey, a Bridge club gathering, and a Struble versus Craig kittenball game with Struble the victors. Attendees include neighbors from LeMars, Hospers, and Earlville with several trips to Sioux City for family and graduation events.
Wreck injures Craig man en route to Sioux City
Fred Miller was badly injured when his coupe left the grade between Struble and LeMars on Saturday afternoon. He suffered a broken nose and multiple cuts, was taken to Sacred Heart hospital LeMars, then returned home. His wife in Sioux City also suffered a broken leg. The crash occurred as he traveled to see her.

New Ford Car Wins Favor As Family And Sport Model
The Ford Phaeton is praised as both a family car and a youth sport car. seating seats driver and one passenger in front and three in rear. Upholstery features two tone cross cobra grain artificial leather. The top is a quick collapsing type folded flat by one person. Triplex shatter proof glass windshield folds flat forward. Windshield wings fold over to accent the sport look.
Wrecked Pontiac Car and Local Events Reported
A Pontiac car owned by Mr Huesinkveldt was badly wrecked in a collision with Ed Woodall. Craig and Struble played tenball here Tuesday evening. August Wilkins sold hogs at the Sioux City market Monday. Mrs Henry Croon Sr hosted a quilting party at her home Monday afternoon, noted as enjoyable as well as stitchy.

Mr and Mrs John Popkens family visited the Ernest Meyer home in Sunay. Visitors at Dick Westhoff home included Mr and Mrs John Wilken Alfred Leonard and Mr and Mrs G J Ludwigs. Paul Meyer son of Rev Theodore Meyer of Preston was ordained. Various locals hosted and visited across multiple homes. Rev J D Meyer attended by Rev J J Vollmar and his mother. Meyer survived a car incident in St Paul with minor injuries.

Kingsley reports a large appreciative audience for the First Methodist church Children’s Day services on Sunday evening. The program opened with selections by the little performers, followed by a pantomime titled The College Bell, which drew strong praise.
