Train Death Ends Long Tour of Louis Kreber
Louis Kreber died suddenly on a train near North Platte Nebraska while en route from Los Angeles to visit relatives in Plymouth county Iowa. He had lived in Washington state for two years then California before starting east. Surviving family includes his mother Mrs Magdaline Kreber two Remsen sisters Miss Louisa and Miss Mary brother August Kreber and several relatives in South Dakota Nebraska and Iowa. The body was shipped to Remsen and will be buried at St Marys church with funeral Saturday.

Mrs Elmer Herron learns of her father John McBride’s death late Tuesday. The 75 year old farmer suffered dropsy with old age and dies after long illness. He owned land in Union township near Plattsville and near Plattsville. He is survived by his wife a son and another daughter in Plattsville. He was highly esteemed in the community and respected for integrity.
