Henrietta Van Muyden, wife of Dick Van Wye, died after a long illness at Hawarden at age 39. Born in the Netherlands on November 29, 1896, she came to America at age five and lived in Sioux Center before moving to Washington township near Ireton. She leaves her husband, three children Grace 17, Mildred 13, Wendall 11, her parents, two brothers Neal Van Muyden and Leonard, and five sisters. Rev J R Van Dyke and Rev Falkema conducted services. interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Sincere sympathy is extended to the family.
