W. J. Rowland Passes Away in Union Township
William J. Rowland a 74 year old Union township resident died at his home four and one half miles south of the city after a four day illness from pneumonia. He is survived by his wife and two children Howard and Mrs Isaac N Rowland. The funeral will be Thursday at one from his home with Rev Samuels of the Welsh Congregational church officiating. Interment in Welsh burial ground. Rowland born Ebensburg Penn 1831 moved to Union township at 36 and lived there ever since. He was a respected longtime resident with strong integrity.
