Bridge foreman W E Booth injured on county project
W E Booth foreman on the new county bridge south of the city fell while working on the middle section breaking his shoulder and suffering bruises. He was taken to his O'Reilly hotel apartments where medical staff treated a difficult fracture and he will be out of work for some time. Booth, with about fifteen years in bridge work, previously fell into the river a month earlier from an 18 foot pier.

Organ installation for Congregational church near May 8

Improvements Prove Successful for Barry Four Row Planter
A group including Barry Four Row investors observed a test at the Lucas farm south of the South school. They praised the planter for reduced side draft and straighter rows on rough ground. Shipments to multiple points in Iowa and Kansas begin this week as dealers push for rush orders. The trial also noted strengthened parts and a new drop mechanism with strong results.

Pony Attached to Cart Runs Wild on College Street
