Freshmen and Sophomores join coal mine trip to Heppner outing
A mixed group including Lucile Rhoten and Lonnie McCabe toured the coal mine above Heppner on Saturday then paused in Neppner to attend a show. Another party led by Paul and Louis Balsiger spent a day visiting in Umatilla with Ray and Skeen families. Susie Bullard, 82, died in Portland on May 4. mourning notes say Mr. Bullard had visited his mother Friday evening near Gold Beach.
