In high school divisions, first place went to Donald Herkier for Oratorical with a tie for second between Helen Smouse and Francis Ely. Minnie Normoyle won Dramatic with Elizabeth Head as alternate. Jeanne Huston won Humorous with Walter Bristow as alternate. Judges were Miss Montgomery, Mr. Menegat, and Rev. W. W. Head. The district High Series contest will be in lone on March 28 with representation from Lexington Hardman and Heppner. the county contest will be held in Heppner.
