Mrs Barbara Ann Ritchie Dies at 85 in Oregon
Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in lone for Mrs Barbara Ann Ritchie who died in Portland at her son George W Ritchies home. Born in 1845 she married Alexander Ritchie and lived in lone and nearby areas, leaving seven children and many grandchildren.

Mrs George Krebs and family visited with sister Mrs Best and daughter Miss Kinner of Garibaldi. John Nash family lost household furnishings in a Friday afternoon fire and occupied a Cecil house. insurance covered the loss. This is the third time burned out in recent years. About two hundred Grangers enjoyed the Krebs hospitality with hearty lunch and enthusiastic talk of a new Grange hall.
