Demonstration Farm Hope Brightens Dry Farm Plan
The State Director of Dry Farm experiments reports progress toward establishing a demonstration farm near Jirch and Manville in Niobrara County. A 40 acre tract abuts the railroad, to be broken and fenced by local residents then turned over to the State for demonstrations and seed supply. Officials say initial capital will be needed, but the farm will pay its way and spur growth across the dry farming region with models of cultivation and access to high quality seed.

Teachers Examinations at Hulett Held Over Friday and Saturday
Teachers and eighth grade examinations will be held at the school house in Hulett on Friday and Saturday December 1 and 2. Mrs Elmore Engle conducts the tests with subjects including arithmetic botany literature psychology history and education related topics in two daily sessions starting at 8 30 a m.
