What is land worts near Albin Wyoming

A man near Albin Wyoming inquired at the land office about land under the desert land act. He noted farms yield about thirty bushels per acre of oats this year and concluded the land isn’t desert land. He said nearby land sells around five dollars an acre and argued grain sales could cover costs, predicting rapid land value loss for those not irrigated. A Campbell and Wm Colburn went to Belle Fourche early this week likely for winter weather. A dance at Donald Hall failed due to the storm and will likely be rescheduled. J O McDonald hauls piping and roofing from Belle Fourche. Donald improvements loom with reports the Ruby Mines near Spearfish are thriving and ore pays well.
