Mr and Mrs Fred Aikman visited Aladdin and a box social with dance is planned for May 7 in Aikman’s barn inviting the school board and local residents.
Returns from the recent examinations show that Joe Lan ning Glen Cameron Parrall Collin Massie Mona Nora Braga and Milicent Gray passed and are entitled to diplomas at Hulett.
Superintendent Truax confirms Prof. F. J. Kelley and J. C. Lindberg of Spearfish along with Mies Jane McGrath to conduct the work. The institute runs June 20 to 25 with an examination held prior to the institute at Sundance. Miss Truax voices enthusiasm for a successful annual meeting session.
Pat Murray of Denver visits Searles family while Victor Redding shears sheep in the area. Weather remains unsettled with forecasts of a dry spring questioned. Walter Parnell and the Collins brothers greet Green Mountain readers as magnet family departs for Montana. Most residents finish harvest and shift to sheep herding or corn preparation.
Ira Benson interviewed the county seat Sunday. Mrs Veach returns from a western trip and stays with daughter Mrs J L Callquist. Mrs Brown retires on the list, nursing grip. Anna Anderson visits from Liveberg. Town sees crowds at church and plans a May 27 basket social. Bear Lodge Pharmacy reports 1500 new postals and local visitors arrive. Major E J Webb visits from England. land and people draw settlers. a store is planned at Carlile.
