Dear readers of the Globe we are well and enjoying life in South Dakota. We praise good crops hay stocks and a new home on a 160 acre farm with a half mile to a school four miles to a church and a rail line by the buildings. The land is valued high and the weather shifts from bitter cold to springlike. We moved from Wyoming and note Bear Lodge as a daunting memory. Wishing a happy New Year to all.

U S Land Office Sundance Wyoming announces public sale under Sec 2445 RE S to George W Lawrence of Aulett Wyoming for land in township 55 north range 69 west lot 5 and 6 section M4 with minimum 240 per acre. Bid deadline January 11 following year at this office. Register Massie notes bid closing and claims deadline.
A reader asks for a League of Nations Covenant copy offered for fifty cents at Prentice Mall Inc in New York City. The notice lists 70 Fifth Avenue as the address.
A Moorcroft gathering spurred Hulett to back the Cus ter Battlefield Highway with a pledge to raise 100 dollars to help mark the new roadway. W J Wood of Hulett led the effort after being impressed by the project. Sheridan Post.
A dozen residents of Hulett organize the Hulett community association led by G. R. Bush as president and J. W. Webster as secretary treasurer. The group aims to mobilize farmers and merchants to improve roads, mail service, and telephone lines and plans a second meeting January 17 at the Bank to map a campaign for the coming season.
The Newcastle News Journal reproduces a December 1 1919 White House order by Woodrow Wilson changing the Crook land district land office location to Newcastle Wyoming. The publication notes the order was signed December 16 and lists the order number and publication details.
The H. L. Rohde family intends to join Mr Rohde in Minneapolis Minnesota soon, based on a report reaching the Globe office.
