Barlean called at Alfred Nelson and Fred Aikman ranches. Mr. and Mrs. C J Derrickson spent Christmas with Bert Derrickson and family. O H Carlson bought the Dave Redding place on Elm Creek and keeps cattle there for winter. Alfred Nelson flew to Belle Fourche with grain to move from the old ranch in spring.
