Sam Barlean called on his uncle last week. The sale at W B Walker's was well attended and everything sold well. Mike Barlean and Mrs Barlean visited Ben Phillips' home last Sunday. Ralph Hickey from Culver Indiana arrived Friday to spend the holidays with his parents after attending Culver academy. Bee Lum Storm complained of cold while passing Del’s place on Tuesday. W. C. Deming declined to seek the gubernatorial nomination. Denver Woods’s pardon request was denied by the board of pardons in Bisma rck after a 13 year sentence for killing Adelbert Crowe. he had served about two years.
