Wedded Yesterday at Crook County Ranch Home

Ina Eaton and Lon C. Russell wed yesterday at a Crook county ranch home in a ceremony conducted by Rev. J. M. Brown of Hulett. The couple joins two old respected families and plans an enduring western marriage, with wishes for happiness and a stable future together.

I O O F Lodge Elects Officers For Next Six Months

Last Saturday evening the I O O F local lodge held its regular election. The new slate includes N G N A Garman V G L J Schiller secretary A C Turneaure treasurer RK W Garman trustee Elmore Engle. Installations will occur at the second January meeting under District Deputy W F Leslie. A large attendance is hoped for at the installation as interest in lodge work grows.

Baker suffers broken leg from wagon mishap

Monday evening Charles Baker, driving from the Asher Knepper place toward his home, had his leg crushed between a stump and wagon rigging. The fracture was reduced by a doctor. Baker, employed in carpenter work, faces a tough winter due to reduced earnings and relocation to the Koepper home for the season.

Barber Shop and Pool Hall Sold to W S Miller

Last Saturday W S Miller bought the E F McCullough barber shop and pool hall. He plans equipment upgrades and will convert a bowling alley to free floor space. Miller will also run a restaurant, promising a busy, profitable enterprise.

Garman Sale Attracts Large Crowd And Spirited Bids

The Garman sale drew a large crowd on Saturday with spirited bidding. Missouri whisper of Chittim's provoked competition as usual with articles selling near their value. Livestock performed well and fetched good prices. Sale extended late into the evening as items beyond the regular bill went. Sellers and buyers both appeared pleased, and bystanders likely shared in the satisfaction.
