Child Dies After Matches Fire On Porch
Helena Sebern seven years old died at her home on Tuesday after flames from a burning match ignited her clothing. The tragedy occurred Monday at 4 45 p m on the front porch of 445 North Gray Street. Her dress caught fire and she was rushed to the kitchen where her mother wrapped her in a bedspread then a physician was summoned. Pneumonia followed the burns and she passed away twenty four hours later. Funeral services are set for Friday at 2 p m with burial at Crown Hill.
