Newton Burns, a longtime Juergens family chauffeur, confessed to killing Mrs. J. W. Juergens, her daughter Myrna, and Mrs. Rosa Schirra in their San Angelo home. The brutal scene showed blood spatter, a bed post impalement, and hatchet hacks. Juergens, in Big Lake, Tex., learned of the killings by phone and planned to return.
