Thomas F. Bayard of Delaware dies after six weeks illness at Karlsstein the summer home of his daughter Mrs. Samuel D Warren in Dedham Mass He will be buried in Delaware with funeral at the old Swedish church Wilmington His career includes U S senator ambassador to Britain and secretary of state chronicling his life from early law practice through the Civil War and Cleveland administrations He leaves a wife Mary W Clymer and seven children including Mrs Warren and Miss Annie Bayard The Bayard name is linked to Wilmington and national politics for decades.
The internal revenue department will levy a one cent tax per hundred dollars on bills of sale for stock and grain trades and at stock yards.
