Jap Miller, Brooklyn mayor, arrived in Indianapolis Monday afternoon for the red men’s convention. He declined invitations to attend the performance of The vinegar buyer at English's opera house Monday night, declaring if Ezra Kendall visits Brooklyn he has a drayman ready to haul him out.

By 2 p.m. Monday Collins was slightly better but still not conscious.
