Hong Kong reports criticize General Otis and recent operations at Porac and San Francisco de Malatea. Dispatches say American troops withdrew after insurgents were driven off and that lives are sacrificed without results. Calls emphasize shortage of physicians nurses and hospital space.

Foley claimed a contract governed living arrangements. his 21 year old wife, Mrs Foley, had told four women of different witnesses.

Richard Duvall, 92, died at the county poor asylum on Tuesday night from old age. He had resided in the asylum since 1891. His wife, also an inmate, died about six years ago. No children survive.
