Flossie Blake of Dunkirk filed for divorce in Portland Indiana on May 29, asking for separation and $1000 alimony from Lott Blake. She accuses him of misconduct and seeks legal relief in the circuit court.
In Bloomington Indiana Chris Summit shot a hawk on a nest in a nearby cornfield, sending the nest to the ground where an unbroken hawk egg nearly ready to hatch was found. Mrs Summit placed the egg under a hen. the hen guarded the brood and pecked the egg to pieces.

His role will lead Idaho’s pure food campaign. His parents are natives of New Lebanon. his father is Sam F. Mason’s brother and his mother is a sister of Mrs. Robert F. Knotts.
Lieut J J Bain his wife and son and Mrs Bain's sister Miss Ida Ralston traveled from Martinsville Indiana to Chicago to join his regular army unit bound for the Philippine Islands. The transport will sail from San Francisco for Manila with a stop at Honolulu.
