Stovall Saves Day For Louisville In Loss To Indianapolis

In a rough open, Louisville defeats Indianapolis 6 to 4 as Stovall, moved from right field to pitcher, cements the Colonels’ lead before Wright relieves. Kellum allowed solid hits but the visitors rally with two runs in the fourth and a later push, while busy fielding miscues hindered the hosts. The crowd of about 2,800 watches Stovall exit after a strong start and Wright finish, keeping Louisville in last place for now.
