Two Interurban Cars Demolished In Indiana Wreck
At 64 o clock in the morning two interurban trolley cars collided between Lafayette and the State Soldiers home during the Grand Army of the Republic encampment. Motorman Charley Roundebush was killed, and many of the approximately fifty injured included residents of Battle Ground, Lafayette, Logansport, South Bend, Marion, Washington, Tipton and other towns. Dozens were hospitalized with varying injuries, some critical. several body parts were crushed or broken and one passenger was fatally hurt.
