Knickerbacker Will Case Heads To Probate Hearing
Judge Morte N. A. Walker set June 16 for hearing matters on the division of the estate of the late Rev. David B. Knickerbacker bishop of the Indianapolis diocese. The will earmarked 10 400 plus interest to fund a church within ten years, else the sum would go to the general building fund. The current amount with interest stands at 19 262.05 per Indiana Trust Company as administrator. Milk dealers fined after health board probe in Indianapolis
Eight dairymen appeared in police court as the City Board of Health investigated milk sold in Indianapolis. Six were fined while Ro Huber and Ennis Leonard had cases continued to May 25. Tests showed Leonard’s milk at 2.1 butter fat, Huber’s at 2.9, Frazee at 3.2. Several defendants offered reasons for the suspect milk.

First woman to be hanged in Missouri since the Civil War
Mrs Aggie Moyers and accomplice Frank Hotiman were sentenced to be hanged for the brutal murder of Clarence Meyers in Kansas City on May 11. The Missouri Supreme Court affirmed the death sentences, Moyers to hang June 29, 1905, the first female execution in the state since the war.

Clairvoyant Magee Charged With Grand Larceny Escape
In Elmira New York Mayer Dr George Musee alias Dr George Kurtz faces grand larceny charges after allegedly posing as a clairvoyant and taking a diamond ring valued at 150 dollars and 300 in money from Mrs George W Gayre of Horseheads. He escaped from a city hall cell by sawing bars during the night. Magee was arrested in Binghamton in April with alleged crimes dating to last summer. Mrs Magee was indicted with her husband and posted a 1300 cash bond. Magee predicted riches for Mrs Sayre if she placed 50 in a bag with the ring and her neck charm. He was also sought in Hot Springs and other locations for extensive schemes.
