Gordon is hospitalized in critical condition. Robbins not yet arrested. The fight followed an editorial about alleged campaign money abuses.

Cincinnati May 20 The Anderson Ziegler company closed a major real estate deal through Henry M. Ziegler acquiring all property on Walnut street north of Hatters alley and fronting the Columbia theater. The 60 by 100 foot plot will be developed to modernize the Columbia theater with architect Col J M Wood, known for over 100 theaters. The deal is reported at $700,000.

Black defendants receive prison terms in Marion County
Six Black defendants were sentenced Thursday morning by Judge Pritchard reflecting county jail depletion. John Kennington, the sole white defendant, pleaded guilty to supplying a law to a prisoner and received one dollar fine and six months in the workhouse. The Black defendants named include John Franklin for robbery of 90 and a watch with two to 14 years at Michigan City, John Hughes, William Walker, and William Smith for stealing from the Big Four railway with one to eight years each at the reformatory, John Sits for nine stolen chickens with one to eight years at the reformatory, and William Foree and Jesse Hood also named.
