The Figaro claims new evidence supports Dreyfus innocence and a pending court of cassation revision. Government ties these announcements to bolster support and prevent unrest ahead of a retrial decision.
Miss Anna Hubbard of Madison Ind sister in law of Senator Joss has been appointed assistant in the state library at $900 a year to succeed Miss Eva Fitzgerald. Hubbard recently served in the Gladi son Wis public library and the appointment was confirmed by the State board of education on Thursday. Hubbard visited Indianapolis a few weeks ago. Fitzgerald who Hubbard will replace has served in the library for several years and is regarded as competent. The board devised questions Friday under the new law replacing county superintendents in preparing queries.
Representative Faris of Indiana says press reports claiming the president will convene an early extra session of Congress are unwarranted. He states the president has indicated conditions must change before deciding on any such session.

In Irvington a dispute at a house Whittaker was building led to Peter Boone sustaining two deep head gashes after being struck with a hatchet. The case against James Whittaker, a contractor, was continued in police court until Saturday.
A newsboy named Simon Englander of South Street narrowly escaped harm after being run over by a wagon driven by Alarton Allen. The wheels passed over his body but he quickly recovered, jumped up, and continued his rounds Thursday evening.
Robert Zener died early Friday at his home 1410 College avenue from a stroke of apoplexy. He had a prior attack over a year earlier and never fully recovered. A longtime insurer representative, he had worked with various companies in Indiana and Kentucky, practiced medicine earlier, and served in the First Baptist Church. He leaves a widow and three children, with funeral at his residence at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs Henry Frommeyer of 230 N Senate Ave died Thursday noon at age 67 after a fall three weeks earlier fractured her lip. Indirectly causing heart failure she suffered a fatal attack. Mr Frommeyer was well known with German circles. She belonged to the Ladies Society of St Mark's Church.
Mrs William McLauglin and her husband were found dead at home on Thursday in a suicide pact. The note says she did not love her husband and desired both to die after an infatuation with two married men. The couple had been married about six weeks. McLaughlin was described as quite wealthy.

Her son Leslie Atchinson a 57 year old unmarried man has been confined at the insane hospital since 1576 for chronic mania, then suddenly at the institution Friday morning. She came from Putnam county. The coroner was asked to determine the cause of death.
