James Parks McCord a leading and wealthiest resident of McCordsville Indiana died at his home on Thursday morning. He was a cousin of John Hanna US district attorney under Lincoln and an uncle of Frank L. Littleton of Indianapolis. A longtime Odd Fellow and highly regarded citizen he helped shape the town since boyhood. He leaves a widow and his only son died years ago. Cause of death was Brights disease.
