Bernard A. Trimpe shoe dealer at 5 percent Indiana avenue was arrested in police court after testifying in larceny cases against Ed Gurnell Roy Brown and Frank Rhoden colored youths. He faces a hearing Friday for receiving stolen goods. The three boys broke a window at Hal Noel's store stole several odd shoes sold to Trimpe who admitted paying for mates but claimed ignorance of origin. Detectives Splan and Wilson arrested the boys. Trimpe was not arraigned until Mrs Brown filed the affidavit. The youths were fined five dollars and 30 days in jail.
Clarence Golder was discharged in police court on suspicion of stealing a telescope from Robert H. Willis. Golder claimed he lost the telescope while moving it to the depot for Mr. Willis. A second Willis trunk disappeared, but witnesses showed Golder delivered it. it never reached Chicago, baffling baggage workers.

Susan Van Deman MacIntire Vinton of New Rochelle New York died at her brother in law C C Foster s home. She was the daughter of Rev and Mrs Thomas MacIntire and spent her early years in Indianapolis. Survived by a husband and four sons. Funeral planned for Saturday at Mr Foster s home.
