Lad Dies After Stepping Before Nevada Street Crossing

16 year old Ralph Wilson was struck by a Big Four engine at the Nevada Street crossing at 7 o clock Wednesday morning and killed. The engineer William Grose signaled but the boy was dazed and thrown from the track. The back of his head was crushed and death was instantaneous. He was walking to visit his sister Mrs Maggie Maples. He was the youngest of eight children. Undertaker Weise to conduct funeral. Coroner Drayton examined the remains and filed the death certificate.
