Robert B. Duncan died Sunday morning at his home on Central Ave after a long decline in health. Born June 1, 1821 in Ontario County New York he moved to Indiana as a youth and rose from deputy county clerk to a lengthy probate law career. He authored papers on central Indiana settlers for the Indiana Historical Society and was known as a longtime Republican leader. Funeral set for 2 pm Tuesday with private Crown Hill interment.
