William A Woods a senior United States circuit judge in the Seventh circuit died suddenly in Delano from indigestion and heart attack symptoms. He suffered a stomach pain three weeks earlier, felt well Friday, and collapsed while at home as wife prepared water. He left a son Floyd A and daughter Alice, born in Marshall Tennessee 1887. Woods held a long judicial career from state legislature in 1866 to US circuit judge since 1893.
