John A Craig died Tuesday evening at his home 482 North Illinois Street after a several week illness. A longtime confectioner, he founded the Craig candy store on his present site and built a lasting local business. Christian D. Bevill a carpenter for contractor Charles Woolenwebber died at City hospital Tuesday evening after sliding from a ladder at the Elizabeth street site 20 feet to cross beams on the first floor. He was injured in the spine ribs and leg and his injuries pierced a lung. Bevill lived at 490 West Tenth street and left five grown children including Mrs. Chas Zoliner of 290 West Washington street. Burial is set for Thursday at 10 o clock.
