Jubilee Procession in London Tops Previous Pageants

London on June 22 marked a royal diamond jubilee parade with Queen Victoria central, Gen. Lord Roberts prominent, and colonial troops honored. The armored cortege, Indian guards, Canadian premiers, and foreign attaches filled the route, while crowds cheered from 4 am. the Queen rode in a multi carriage procession through Temple Bar to Buckingham Palace, delivering a telegraph message to subjects worldwide.
