Prouty, Ninth Walter J. Smith, Tenth Frank P. Woods, Eleventh Albert H. Hubbard. Designations show party: P Progressive and Standpatter noted for some candidates.
Des Moines reports late results showing Warren Garst the progressive nominee for governor defeating incumbent Carroll by a few thousand votes with 46 of 99 counties heard. Prouty wins Seventh district, Smith re nominated Ninth, Kennedy and others confirmed, indicating Progressive convention control and support for Cummins and Del Liver.
