John Moore ten years old drowns in a gravel dredged, deep section of White River behind W Washington streetcar barns. He disappeared after cramps struck while swimming with companions. police and rescuers dragged the river for the body. The boy lived at 1059 W New York street.
George Seybold age 63 fell ten feet from the plants first floor to the basement at the Nelson Morris plant 231 Kentucky avenue Thursday. He struck four cross braces in the basement and is believed to be internally injured. He was taken to his home 2 Highland avenue.

Indianapolis heavy weight attorneys Michael A. Ryan Martin Huge and Henry N. The trio insisted the ride continue until 10 o clock Thursday morning and returned with gasoline aboard to observe other county points of interest.
Clifford Litterall of Dayton Ohio aged 27 died at Methodist hospital after a crushing injury from a large machine Tuesday afternoon. He had been sent by the Stoddard Dayton Company to race at the Speedway and fell from a car as the rear wheel passed over his head and chest. His wife and parents were at his side when he died.

George W. Lancaster files a suit seeking damages from Edward Stratham Louis C. Reese and the W. E. Mick agency over 70 dogs kept at Meridian and Thirty-eighth streets. He claims barking howling fighting a foul kennels stench and property damage totaling 2500 plus 5000 in damages. He says dogs roam and a neighbor was bitten leading to hydrophobia and death.
W. K. Stewart of Indianapolis buys the Robert Clarke company stock and copyrights for 15000 dollars. Clarke, a Cincinnati bookseller, was a friend of Stewart’s grandfather. The firm evolved into Stewart Bowen, Bowen Merrill, Bobbs Merrill, and now the W. K. Stewart company, which retained only the retail department. B. F. Vonnegut manages the W. K. Stewart firm.
Auditor Sahm reported by noon Thursday that Marion County had received bills from county clerks in neighboring counties for expenses in cases venued there. The total was about %%,000, reflecting outside trial costs billed to Marion County.
