Night riders strike and lash victims in Kentucky raid
A masked band of night riders abducted Andrew Farris from his home and beat him, then seized Belle Gross and another woman, lashing them on their backs. They shot Hardin Minton while he tried to flee. The raid near Allen county followed the killing of John Stinson on Monday night. A solemn funeral for Christopher Burk, 70, who died after nine years with the Little Sisters of the Poor, was held in Indianapolis with Sisters as mourners.
