Arrested but a joke rings up theft of ring case
Milton Linder a traveling salesman from Chicago was arrested at the Edwards hotel by Detectives Larsh and Samuels on a charge of stealing a diamond ring from T C Larsen an other salesman. Linder says the tale is a joke and police may share the view. He says Larsen is careless about valuables and that he found the ring on the hotel room floor and joked about the loss all day. The men had traveled together three weeks and planned to meet in Princeton Indiana.
