Old Soldier Skeleton Found in Swamp Near Covington
A skeleton of a middle aged man, lightly clothed with new shoes, was found by fishermen in a swamp southwest of Covington Indiana. The body likely lay hidden for eight to ten months and shows signs of foul play. A pocketbook a pocket comb and a decayed government envelope were found. no money or valuables. The remains were sent to the Vermilion county coroner.
