Circuit Court voids in and out fee law in Indiana
Judge Remster ruled the 1907 act granting in and out fees to sheriffs unconstitutional. The suit by Henry W. Bullock sought to stop $208 in March 1908 fees paid to Sheriff Woessner. The decision questions adjournment timing and suggests the bill should have been a new act at a later session. The ruling endangers similar fees statewide until final supreme court determination.
