Two Men Die From Gas in Kenwood Well Tragedy
In Kenwood a new 36 foot well on Charles Dickison property claimed two lives Daniel P Stephens and Don Reed. Reed fell while placing a pump and Stephens descended to aid him both succumbing to poisonous gas. Stephens husband of a wife and father of a daughter Mary Elizabeth aged 38 with brothers George and Zenas and sister Mrs Edwin Stewart. Reed aged 25 leaves a wife and three children.

Child Seriously Burned By Fire From Brush Heap Incident
Kinera Deyarmin, child of Clarence Deyarmin of Brushyalley township, was badly burned on the buck and hips when her clothing caught fire from a burning brush heap while watching the fire. The child required immediate tearing away of garments to escape the flames. A lingering report also notes the infant daughter Plumville of Mrs. Harvey died Friday.
