North Point Woman Killed by Adorer in Tragedy
Mrs. Clark Reitz of North Point was fatally shot by her lover Victor Armstrong of Chicora at Butter Junction as her husband waited at the station to meet her. Armstrong, a married man and father, died of self inflicted wounds nearby. The couple’s infatuation spanned 18 months, ending in tragedy with funerals held for Reitz in North Point.
